Just took this one. My poor guy is still not feeling well and knew he needed a nap so he asked me to snuggle him up on the couch(which is where he naps if he decides to nap) and within five minutes he was out cold. I sure hope these kids feel better soon!

This is a picture of the snow from yesterday, we didnt get a whole lot but it was so windy at some points I could hardly see across the street! Apparently we're in for a few more inches tonight. I hope its packing snow so the boys and I can go out and build snowmen!

Took these yesterday. Soph was having fun poking at Kitty lol the boys both took a nap together on the couch but were only napping together for about ten minutes. So i didnt get a nap. Ricky is gone to school today. Charlie still isnt feeling well and now Sophie has it :( i sure hope my kids feel better soon!

I washed all of these eggs today. Roughly four dozen chicken eggs and two dozen duck eggs. Weve been getting roughly a dozen chicken eggs a day and anywhere from one to four duck eggs a day. The duck eggs are the white-ish ones. They dont taste much different than a chicken egg but there is more yolk and less white.

Im thinking about trying to restart this blog,. Im not making any resolutions for 2012, because they never seem to work out. I would however like to set some goals/things Id like to see done this year. First, Id like to lose the last 40 pounds of baby weight(this is going back to when I got pregnant with Ricky!) and Im hoping(once we get some nicer weather) to start running. I hear its quite addicting, and I need an outlet for stress/anxiety. I need to do some reading up on the Couch to 5k program... I'd like to organize my house a bit more, and get rid of all of the unnecessary clutter, along with the mountain of baby clothes/junk that resides in my basement. I'd like to get the kids rooms painted, I still need to decide what I want to do in them. I have a few odds and ends projects Id like to finish up as well. Our big projects this year hopefully will include planting some evergreens along the property edges, and *hopefully* a new furnace and a/c system if we can swing it.
I hope this year I can remember to update my blog more than once in a while. Id like to do it everyday but I doubt that'll happen, so hopefully every week. I want to include not only pictures but funny tidbits from the kids and updates on how/where things are going in life.
So for those of you still reading this, Im back!-for now at least ;)

A new blanket

Im making this blanket for our room. This is as far as Ive gotten on it. I have 9 more big squares and a few more small ones, but Im definately going to have to make more of the small ones. I originally was going to make this all in the small squares, but figured it would take forever, and I kind of like what the big ones add to the blanket. I need to go buy some more black yarn, and possibly some more pink.

I cant believe its been three months since I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. She's growing up so fast right before our eyes. I swear time goes by quicker the more kids we have. She's a lovely little girl, very rarely is she unhappy, she's a breastfeeding champ and sleeps 10-12 hours at night. We all absolutely adore her and she has every last one of us wrapped around her pretty little finger. This one is going to be a heartbreaker, but boys beware, she's got two older brothers who can't get enough of her and Im sure will be hell bent on protecting her when shes older :)

35 weeks as of yesterday! Sophie has been told she needs to stay inside for at least another week, until mom and dad get back from Costa Rica. After that, she can come anytime. I dont have everything 100% done that I need to get done, but I am SO done being pregnant.

**Update** The furnace is working and we're back up to a warm 22 degrees :)

This is what we woke up to this morning :S Our furnace is out, for the second time this winter. Im waiting for Reliance to get here and fix it again...Im thinking we're likely going to have to replace it before next winter :S Hopefully theyre able to fix it though, if not looks like we're going to have to spend a shitload of money we dont have right now :S Oy!
