New projects

This is the hubby's Christmas present. He's been asking for a beaver hat, so I made him one. No one show this to him though, as its a surprise!

Fingerless gloves.

When I started these, I myself didnt really see the point in them, I mean gloves/mitts are made to keep your fingers warm right? But they are AWESOME for driving. You still have the grip of your fingers but they keep the rest of your hand nice and toasty. I suppose they would also be good for texting, but I dont text so I have no idea.

I also have another hat I made, but its a Christmas gift for someone special so I'll post the pic after Christmas(because I dont want her to see it before then!)

Crochet Cowl/Hood

Crochet Cowl/hood. Can be worn as a scarf/cowl or a hood. (please ignore the hideousness of my face this morning, its been a long few days! lol)

The newsboy hat I made...Ignore the crosseyed-ness in the second picture lol. Apparently im a machine today, as I finished Rickys Santa hat, made Charlies elf hat and made myself this newsboy hat (And somehow got the kitchen cleaned and dinner on the table!)

I was going to make Ricky and Charlie matching santa hats, however I decided to give Ricky the Santa hat and make an elf hat for Charlie. I'm planning on using these as props for their Christmas pictures.

Awesome mail day!!

Today was an awesome mail day! The Sales Tax Cheque came in for this month and it was WAY more than I expected! Hello to paying off some Christmas bills! AND one of the xmas presents I ordered online(for a certain special sister in law) FINALLY came in! Im SUPER stoked about it!! (And no Sarah I will NOT tell you what it is, you have to wait :)
That is all. I just wanted to share my good day!

Birthday Weekend

Seriously, what an awesome weekend!! Saturday night mom and dad watched the kids overnight for us, so we went shopping and out for dinner(for my birthday!). We got new bedding for our new bed thats being delivered on Thursday, and we finished Christmas shopping for the kids! I even got myself a few long sleeved shirts (my belly just keeps growing! lol) I got to sleep in (kind of) on Sunday and then my wonderful sister took me out for lunch and to get pedicures done! I have very pretty toes!! After that we went to mom and dads for my birthday dinner, chicken, fettucini alfredo with asparagus, caesar salad and fresh bread! AND grama made me pumpkin pie!!(my fave!)
Today mom and dad came and hooked our new tv up for us (they bought Rich and I a new tv for my birthday and our xmas gift combined) Its gorgeous! I *heart* it! My parents rock!
All in all definately a birthday worth remembering! Hope everyone else had an awesome weekend too!
